Mlion Corporation is proud to have supplied our steel solutions for the NS Square Project in the Marina Bay area of Singapore.
NS Square is a significant redevelopment project spearheaded by the Singapore government to transform the former site of The Float @ Marina Bay into a permanent, iconic national venue. Envisioned as a new centrepiece for civic and celebratory events, NS Square will feature a multi-functional stadium, vibrant community spaces, and a National Service-themed gallery that pays tribute to Singapore’s defence forces. Designed by internationally renowned architectural firms, the development blends aesthetic innovation with structural complexity, making it a landmark in both design and purpose.
Located in the heart of downtown Marina Bay, the project presented a unique set of challenges. Space constraints required precise planning, and we worked closely with the project team to select beam sizes that would avoid clashes with existing infrastructure. These complexities were further heightened by a tight delivery timeline of under two months.
Despite these constraints, our team successfully delivered approximately 2,000 metric tonnes of 914mm, 838mm, and 610mm Series Beams, along with Type 4 Sheet Piles. These materials were supplied for the construction of temporary Earth Retaining or Stabilizing Structures (ERSS), enabling the efficient and effective construction of key elements such as soldier piles and landslide cofferdams. Our timely deliveries ensured that piling works proceeded smoothly and remained on schedule.
Through our solutions and expertise, our clients benefitted from faster lead times, improved cost efficiency, and the assurance of high-quality, dependable products for their critical structural needs.
At Mlion, we are committed to supplying steel solutions and offering technical guidance and tailored recommendations that meet the engineering and logistics demands of our customer’s project requirements. We take pride in delivering precision and reliability, especially for projects of national importance.
We are proud to contribute to yet another iconic addition to Singapore’s Marina Bay skyline and honoured to play a part in shaping the city’s next chapter.
