Ethics is a core value of Mlion Corporation. We believe we are responsible for protecting and assisting the communities and societies in which we operate.

When making decisions, Mlion always heavily considers our impact on the people, society and the environment around us. However, our concerns do not only cover mitigating harm; they also extend to taking up an active role in bettering the world.

Throughout 2023, Mlion Corporation has undertaken numerous initiatives to better the communities around us. This year alone, Mlion has contributed 439 man-hours to charitable efforts, and that doesn’t even include the planning, liaising and preparation for such efforts.

In November this year, we reached the one-year anniversary of our commitment towards the Meals-on-Wheels Programme through TOUCH Community Services. Across this financial year, we have delivered 638 meals and 480 goody bags to the elderly.

Other than working with TOUCH Community Services, Mlion has also sponsored many other charitable initiatives by other organisations, such as:

1. Fei Yue Family Service Centre (Yew Tee)
2. Northeast Community Development Council
3. Potong Pasir CCC
4. People’s Association
5. EtonHouse Community Fund
6. Gawad Kalinga

For Gawad Kalinga, we planned an engagement trip to a community in Calamba, Philippines, on 2nd December 2023. During the engagement, Mlion helped prepare a meal for the children in the community and assisted with repainting the local multipurpose hall. Games were also played, and prizes were provided to the children.

For that same community, we have also sponsored 50 meals per day in Gawad Kalinga’s Community Feeding Programme for a period of 120 days to improve the nutrition of the children within the community. To facilitate this, a new kitchen called the Kusina Ng Kalinga (KNK), “Care Kitchen” has been set up. The kitchen features renovations and repairs to provide meals to the children.

If the Feeding Programme proves fruitful in its intended purpose of improving nutrition and academic participation for the children, Mlion will extend this sponsorship.

Moving forward, Mlion Corporation will continue our commitments and contributions, not only in terms of monetary donations but also in terms of man-hours. Despite being an organisation, we at Mlion can make a difference as individuals.
